Reasoning at God's Frequency

As believers, we sometimes find it challenging to understand the things God is doing in our lives. While some may quickly conclude that there are things God does not owe us an explanation for, it is essential to remember that God invites us to reason with Him. By reasoning with God, we can get a better understanding of the things He is doing in our lives and the role we are to play.

In Isaiah 1:18, God invites us to reason with Him, saying, "Come now, and let us reason together." While we might not always know everything, God has already invited us to reason with Him concerning some things. This is where it becomes crucial to understand the concept of reasoning at God's frequency.

What is frequency?

Frequency refers to the number of times a thing can happen within a specific period of time. In simple terms, it is the number of occurrences of a thing within a given period. For example, if Brother A can blink his eyes twice in one second, his blinking rate is two times per second. Sister B, who can blink four times in one second, has a blinking rate of four times per second. Therefore, sister B's blinking has a higher frequency than brother A's blinking.

When we apply this concept to our relationship with God, there is a particular cycle of two activities God expects us to complete as quickly as possible whenever He is dealing with us. Just as blinking the eye is a cycle of opening and closing, the two activities God expects us to make quickly as possible anytime He is relating with us are willingness and obedience (Isaiah 1:19).

To be willing as used in Isaiah 1:19 in Hebrew means to consent, while obedience in the same passage means to hear intelligently. Therefore, reasoning at God's frequency involves the rate at which we hear intelligently and consent whenever God is dealing with us on any matter. The cycle of hearing intelligently and consenting immediately.

The importance of hearing intelligently and consenting

Jesus made an astounding declaration in Matthew 13:13-17, which states, "Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. And in them, the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: 'Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes, they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them.' But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it."

From this declaration, it is evident that hearing intelligently is crucial to our understanding of the things God is doing in our lives. To hear intelligently means to listen with understanding, to be attentive, and to be receptive to God's voice. It means that we are willing to hear God's instructions and obey them.

On the other hand, consenting means to agree, accept, and be willing to comply with God's instructions. It means that we are willing to take a step of faith and trust God, even when we don't fully understand what He is doing.

When we hear intelligently and consent immediately, we are better positioned to reason with God at His frequency. We can understand what He is saying and act accordingly, even when it seems contrary to our natural instincts. We can trust that God knows what is best for us and that His plans for us are good.

Are there certain gates preventing your mind from perceiving intelligently and consenting immediately today? I declare concerning you today in the order of Psalms 24:7 (NKJV) Lift up your heads, O you gates in the name of Jesus. Your mind is open and you are able to reason as God reveals to you in Jesus' name.

Reduce your admission of ignorance on spiritual matters by reasoning at God's frequency today and you will see your life becoming more meaningful as each day goes by.
