My seed is holy!

Today, we dive deep into a powerful message from the Apostle Paul regarding the transferability of spirituality. He mentions to Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:5 that he is persuaded that the genuine faith which was in Timothy's grandmother Lois, and Timothy's mother Eunice is also in Timothy. This raises the question of whether spiritual practices are communicable.

Apostle Paul further emphasizes this concept by mentioning in 2 Timothy 3:15 that Timothy has known the Holy Scriptures from a child. This implies that spiritual practices were communicated to Timothy even before he was old and mature enough to make certain decisions.

To further validate this concept, Apostle Paul mentioned in his note to the Corinthian church.

1 Corinthians 7:14 (NKJV) For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise, your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.

This message encourages us to pray for our children, knowing that the same faith that has been passed down to us can also be passed down to them. I urge you to continue seeking the Lord. Your kids are watching you and whether you like it or not, they see also the effect your faith is having on you.

Your kids may not be performing desirably today. But don't stop being fervent in the Lord. They are seeing you and what is happening to you. At the appointed time their holiness will show forth.
